         对画空间荣幸地宣布，旅法艺术家王玉的最新个展“想入非非”将于2010年10月23日隆重开幕。本次展览将展出王玉最近一年的全新作品。
 王玉的作品一直在追求对身体的塑造，这种塑造不是对身体解剖式的精确描绘，而是以凝固性强调身体轮廓优美的曲线，以流动性突出隐藏在身体里优雅自由的灵魂。从2007年开始，王玉创造出了一种肌肤语言，她将丙烯媒介剂和上光剂加入到了她的创作材料当中，她巧用了通常用来混合颜料的上光剂和媒介剂，自然而然地造就了一种几乎非物质的透明感，艺术家就是用它来主宰画面。王玉的绘画在创作手段上并不是表现主义的，但这些作品的表现力却远超出了它们的描述性，人物肖像和身体在画布上凝结的那一刻，又仿佛逃逸了，消逝在时间之中。诚然，王玉的绘画就是一场精神和感官之旅的邀请！
 
 Beijing Dialogue Space gallery is proud to announce the opening on 23rd October 2010 at 3pm of “Flight of Fancy”, Wang Yu latest solo exhibition. Wang Yu is a Chinese artist who lives in France. This exhibition centers on new work she has produced last year.
 Wang Yu’s work investigates the shape of the body. It does not depict the anatomy of the body precisely, but rather aims to emphasize the beauty of its curves, and to highlight the spirit of elegance and freedom concealed within. Wang has been creating this language of the skin since 2007. Recently, she has incorporated acrylic jelly into her medium of painting, which she mixes with varnish. Her skillful use of varnish – which usually serves only to fix the pigment – shows that she is no stranger to the near-immaterial transparency a painter can give the surface of the canvas. Wang Yu’s paintings are not technically expressionistic, but the expressive quality of her work goes beyond mere description. Portraits and bodies appear to break free, transcending the boundaries of time even as they are fixed onto the canvas.  These paintings are an invitation to embark on a journey that is at once spiritual and sensual.
