作为访问中国的序幕，著名油画艺术家王鑫生先生的油画作品展将于 2009 年 10 月 24 日至 2010 年1月 24 日期间，在北京壹号地 LA PLANTATION 璃墟艺术中心展出（地址：北京市朝阳区，崔各庄乡 何各庄村，壹号地 D区璃墟艺术中心）。
“王鑫生对于强烈色彩使用的游刃有余，加之他那闪烁的作品，引导着我们去留意和观察在日常生活中往往被忽视的自然之美丽。”艺术家丹尼尔如此评论。
此次王先生精心准备的10副油画作品无一不孕育着艺术家对自然态的丰饶元素及绚丽色彩的理解和探索。娴熟的画技，更在视觉效果方面划下点睛之笔，充分体现了艺术家对于能量平衡的精准拿捏，和对时空观以及东西方文化的深层理解。

Through a selection of ten oil paintings, the exhibition guides us through the artist's quest to understand the floral diversity and its many colors. With great technical mastery, Xinsheng Wang managed to calm and balance energy, past and modernity, East and West.
While Xinsheng Wang's works are often presented in the U.S., they were rarely exhibited in China. At the time of the opening, Mr Wang will have a live show on spontaneous painting. We invite you to enjoy this particular moment and Xinsheng Wang's creations at La Plantation a place where art and "art de vivre" meet.
关于王鑫生先生1949 年出生于西安，少年时期跟随国画大师陈景堂学习国画。后大学期间改修油画专业，1993年移民美国，曾多次参加国际性艺术大赛并多有殊荣，十余年来多次在美国画廊和美术馆举办大型画展，他的具有中国特色的绘画风格和惊人的表现能力在艺术界应起了巨大反响，艺术家主体性创作“饥饿的寄托“引起了巨大反响，画作多被美术馆收藏。巨幅 创作“雨鹤惊香”多次被国际性艺术杂志转载。2003 年休斯顿定 3 月 15 日为王鑫生日，以表彰王鑫生为艺术作出的杰出贡献。2008 年 10 月 4 日，为表彰艺术家王鑫生先生在艺术上的杰出成就和美术教育方面的伟大贡献，美国国会山庄上空专门为艺术家王鑫生升起一面美国国旗，并由国会议员奥格林先生亲自将这面美国国旗赠送给王鑫生先生。 2008年 10月 8日，美国国会颁发奖状褒奖王鑫生先生为世界艺术大师。

A few words about Mr Wang :
Born in Xi An, China, Xinsheng Wang grew up in a traditional Chinese artist family. Greatly influenced by his parents, who were both well-known portrait painters, Wang started his career with oil painting after university graduation. He was top prize winner in quite a number of national oil painting competitions.
Wang’s artistic creativity was re-energized after he immigrated to Houston, Texas in 1993. He soon established himself in the local artists circles by perfectly integrating the western oil painting into the beauty of traditional Chinese drawings. His paintings are collected by museums and published in Collection of Chinese Contemporary Artists Masterpieces.
On April 17, 2000, Lee Brown, former mayor of Greater Houston, named Wang Honorary Citizen and current Mayer Bill White announced March 15, 2004 as Wang XinSheng Day of Houston due to his artistic achievement and his contributions to local art education. Many of his students have
won gold medals in a number of young artists national and international competitions. On September 11, 2001, Wang donated to American Red Cross for victims of 9/11 tragedy. On June 1, 2008, Wang and his students made donation as well as sales of his art work for victims of China Sichuan earthquake.
On January 1-27, 2008, Wang held his solo art exhibition at Taipei Angel Art Gallery. On February 28, 2008, Wang held his solo art exhibition at Admos House, Harvard University. On August 2008, Wang and his students represented American artists and went to Beijing for Green Olympic Art Trip and won over 90 individual awards as well as his excellent educationalist award. Wang represented American artists and gave his speech at the center stage.
On Oct. 4, 2008, Al Green, member of Congress, presented The Flag of United States of America that was flown over The United States Capital in honor of Wang's Artistic Contribution as a World Renown Master of Art.
Besides teaching at his own school, Wang also gives public lectures on the understanding & interpretations of Eastern and Western Arts presentations. Currently Artist Wang is preparing for his forthcoming painting tour of China.
