比利时画家雷内·马格利特的一幅绘画被盗

布鲁塞尔，比利时讯    警方说两个武装窃贼从布鲁塞尔一个小博物馆内盗走了比利时画家雷内·马格利特（Rene Magritte）的一幅绘画。

　　布鲁塞尔警局发言人Johan Berckmans说，两个男性周二乘一辆轿车将马格利特的《奥林匹亚》（Olympia）盗走，这张绘画是这位超现实主义画家妻子Georgette的裸体肖像，描绘她躺着，胃上放了一个贝壳，估价为750,000欧元。

　　这幅作品挂在马格利特从前的家中，这已经成为了一家小型博物馆，而这幅作品是从今年开放的马格利特大博物馆特地移出存放在这家博物馆。

　　国际失踪艺术品记录组织登记马格利特的绘画已经有19幅之多，8幅是最近失踪的，2007年一幅马格利特的绘画在运输中被盗，但不久被警方找到。

Thieves Make off with Magritte Painting from a Small Museum in Belgium

BRUSSELS (AP).- Police say two armed robbers have stolen a painting by Belgian artist Rene Magritte from a small museum in Brussels.

Brussels city police spokesman Johan Berckmans says the two men escaped with the 1948 "Olympia" oil painting by car on Thursday. The nude portrait of the surrealist's wife, Georgette, is valued at euro750,000 ($1.1 million).

The painting hung at Magritte's former house which has been turned into a small museum. Entry is by appointment only. It is separate from a larger Magritte museum that opened this year.

The Art Loss Register has 19 artworks by Magritte registered on the database, 8 of which are currently missing. In 2007, a Magritte painting went missing in transit, only for it to be recovered shortly afterwards by police.
