沈也《口岸》

《口岸》是我把在船上拍摄下来的张开的口的形象连成的模样，以牙齿为岸，以一把把型形似船帆的尖刀作为海上漂泊的船只。厦门是个口岸城市，刀是杀鱼用的刀，这也代表了市民的生存方式。同时也体现了人与动物之间的关系，我一直都很关心饮食文化与人之间的关系。

Mouth
This piece of works is about a big mouth made of some photos taken from a ship. Those teeth in the works symbolize a port and ship-like sharp knives symbolize floating ships in the sea. Xiamen is a port city. Sharp knife is for killing fish. It represents the life style of Xiamen citizens, and at the same time, shows the relationship between human beings and animals. The artist has been watching the relationship between food culture and human beings.
