2009年5月22日,艺美基金(都亚特空间),名流云集,衣香鬓影。来自北京的三十多位职业艺术家,社会各界的精英们,ISB国际学校的家长会,与艺美基金的工作人员一起共赴2009年艺美基金慈善晚宴。
华服金盏,暗香浮动。美景良宵,奢华夜宴。众多艺术精品,让这个夜晚品位高雅,大气时尚;著名艺术家曾梵志先生的光临和共同参与的以“与谁同坐”为主题的艺术沙龙,让这个夜晚星光灿烂;而使这个夜晚更加温馨动人的,是一片炙热可感的爱心。以“我们为北京留下了什么?”为主题的慈善义拍活动掀起了当晚的高潮。共筹善款,并全部捐给 “爱希(北京)文化发展中心”。

创立于2009年的ArtMia(艺美基金),是一个公益性机构,专门为当代艺术项目做开启,扶持,展示和推广的工作。继主办“曾梵志苏州博物馆个展-与谁同坐”和“博鳌亚洲当代艺术展”之后,艺美基金携手“爱希(北京)文化发展中心”主办的以“我们为北京留下了什么?”为主题的义拍活动,意在为慈善事业献出一份爱心,播下希望的种子。
晚宴展出的义拍作品,由来自北京的三十多位职业艺术家和ISB国际学校家长会共同捐赠,著名艺术家艾未未捐赠的作品也在其中。与著名艺术家曾梵志共同参于的“与谁同坐”艺术沙龙,带您一起回顾曾梵志苏州博物馆个展。此外,晚宴还准备了韩国茶道表演和“栩栩如生博物馆”,在品尝韩式传统茶艺的同时,让您体验以数码复原形式虚拟展示古典艺术杰作为特色的西方艺术史。

陈玹镁博士毕业于韩国梨花女子大学,在北京大学获得比较文学的博士学位,并留校任教两年。目前,她担任中韩文化交流协会的会长一职,主要从事于中韩两国高层文化交流的促进工作。当韩国现代画廊在北京建立首个海外机构——都亚特北京画廊时,她曾担任其首席艺术总监。2009年,陈玹镁女士创立了艺美基金,在苏州博物馆举办了曾梵志的个展,在2009亚洲博鳌论坛设立了博鳌亚洲当代艺术展。多年来,她在国内外与众多优秀的策展人、资深评论家及艺术机构等建立了良好关系,并与中国多位知名艺术家有着长期密切的合作。

ArtMia Charity Dinner
On May 22nd 2009, the ArtMia Foundation along with more than 30 contemporary artists from Beijing, and the PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) of the International School of Beijing, will hold the 2009 ArtMia Charity Dinner.
A number of selective artworks will be up for auction and an art salon led by well-known artist Zeng Fanzhi will highlight the evening. The silent auction for charity will be themed “What Can We Leave Behind When We Depart Beijing”, and all proceeds will be given to the Love & Hope Center for Culture and Development.
“What Can We Leave Behind When We Depart Beijing”
Established in 2009, the ArtMia Foundation is a nonprofit institution dedicated to the initiation, support, presentation and promotion of contemporary art projects. After organizing “Narcissus looks for Echo — a Zeng Fanzhi Exhibition” and the “Boao Asia Contemporary Art Exhibition”, Artmia will cooperate with the Love & Hope Center and launch a silent auction for charity, themed “What Can We Leave Behind When We Depart Beijing.
The artworks up for auction are to be donated by more than 30 professional artists and some contributors from the PTA of ISB (International School of Beijing). These artists include the famous Ai Weiwei, among others. The Art Salon will feature well-known artist Zeng Fanzhi, and will review his solo exhibition at the Suzhou Museum, “Narcissus looks for Echo”. An authentic Korean tea ceremony and the “Alive Museum” are also on the itinerary. Guests will be able to experience Western art history through a virtual display of classical art masterpieces digitally reconstructed, as they sample traditional Korean tea.

The Love & Hope Center for Culture and Development is a non-profit organization that is devoted to the education of less privileged and impoverished children
They have established an opportunity to help these children through free, on-the-job training and educational programs. The center also focuses on the education and literacy of women from rural areas. Empowerment by knowledge can change the lives of these children, and the education of an underprivileged woman can have an effect that resounds through generations.

A nonprofit institution founded in 2009, ArtMia was devised to initiate, support, present, and promote contemporary art projects. The foundation believes in the power of the fine arts to embody and inspire the pursuit of human excellence. Its founder, Dr.Mia Jin is devoted to providing a platform to various audiences to conduct a wide variety of art exhibitions, research and other events.

Dr. Mia Jin graduated from Ewha Women’s University in Korea, received her PH.D in Comparative Literature from Peking University, and taught for two years there. She is currently the director of the Sino-Korean Cultural Exchange Center, actively engaged in the promotion of high-level cultural exchanges between China and South Korea. When the Gallery Hyundai of South Korea, a well-known art institution in Asia, set up its first overseas branch in Beijing, the DoART Beijing Gallery, she served as Chief Artistic Director. In 2009, Mia established the ArtMia Foundation, hosted artist Zeng Fanzhi’s solo exhibition at the Suzhou Museum and the Boao Asia Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Boao Forum for Asia 2009. Over the years, she has built favorable relations with many outstanding curators, senior critics and art institutions at home and abroad, and established long-term close cooperation with various artists in China.
