·展览前言：

　　“幽潭与浮标”延续了策展人朱朱在“自转——南京青和当代美术馆开馆展”中的学术思路，试图在历史性的探讨和整体性的描述之后，将目光深入到江南范围内更为年轻的艺术群体之中，对他们在具体的创作实践中所呈现的独特的创造性和想象力，以及“非现实”的地域气质——或者说与政治现实之间的疏离感，做进一步的展示和研究。这也恰与南京青和当代美术馆“立足江苏、对接国际”，力推年轻艺术家的建馆主旨相吻合。而对于艺术语言本身的关注，也是青和美术馆和南京艺事后素现代美术馆一贯的学术主张。

　　本展览由两个展览场馆构成，主场馆设在南京青和当代美术馆，用以展示绘画、装置、影像等，分展馆设在南京艺事后素现代美术馆，为独立的摄影图片单元。

“Deep Pond and Float Chamber” continued the  exhibition planner Zhu Zhu’s academic thinking reflected in “Rotation—The Opening Exhibition of Nanjing Qinghe Current Art Center”. In addition to historic display and comprehensive description, this exhibition probes deeper into the younger artistic community in the regions south of the Yangtze River. We aim at a more thorough investigation and research into the unique creativity, imagination and “non-realistic” regional character (or insulation from political reality) reflected in their works. It coincides with the founding purpose of Nanjing Qinghe Current Art Center to promote young artist, “based in Jiangsu, aiming at the whole world”. We also pay special attention to artistic language itself, which is also the continued academic principle of Nanjing Qinghe Current Art Center and Nanjing White Canvas Gallery.

The exhibition will be held at two different venues. The main venue will be at Nanjing Qinghe Current Art Center, where paintings, installation and videos will be exhibited. The branch venue will be at Nanjing White Canvas Gallery. There will be an independent photography exhibition unit.
